Last week, Trump railed against ‘Shylocks and bad People’ in Iowa speech. Again, saying the quiet part out loud. Full quote:
“No death tax, no estate tax, no going to the banks and borrowing from, in some cases, a fine banker and in some cases shylocks and bad people,” Trump said, adding, “They destroyed a lot of families, but we did the opposite.”
Actual anti-semites using anti-semitism as a cudgel, while destroying many families in the process. I despise this.
And the fact that his denials make it obvious he has no clue about The Merchant of Venice just makes me shake my head.
