Another article in Slate, this time by James S. Murphy, argues that private schools are also a major problem in American higher education. Among this set, our University doesn’t look very good, even in comparison.

As the Supreme Court prepares to hear another case about the problems with affirmative action, it’s worth considering the factor that really provides applicants an unfair advantage: private schools.
